Laurens Sweeck soloed to victory in the last race of the season, dominating the Sluitingsprijs in Oostmalle for the second year in a row.

In a warm spring sun, Sweeck showed off his talent for the last time this season. The sand sections were though thanks to the warm temperatures, which was perfectly suited for the sand specialist of Bingoal – Pauwels Sauzen. He powered clear in the third lap and left his fellow escapee Quinten Hermans behind. No one was able to close the gap in the following 6 laps.

As last year, Laurens Sweeck closed his season with a victory.

Laurens Sweeck:

“It went really well today despite I started off badly. But I felt good and pushed the pace. I had more power than I had yesterday. It’s my fifth victory this year, so I can be satisfied about my season.”
