Tim Van Dijke has won the 6th and final stage of the Cro Race, while his twin brother finished third on GC.
The final stage to Zagreb was won by T. Van Dijke, the 21-year-old talent of Jumbo-Visma, who normally rides for the development team. Van Dijke was the fastest of a 3-rider sprint and claimed his first pro victory. His twin brother, Mick Van Dijke, rode a very consistent Cro Race, recording three top 5 results during the 6-day stage race.
Tim Van Dijke: “This victory means a lot to me. I didn’t see this coming at all! I enjoyed this race in Croatia. It is a nice conclusion to the season. It started anything but promising due to a crash during a training camp, but it ended very well. I am thrilled about this win.”
